I came to Deep Roots for a corrective appointment after a previous color service elsewhere left my hair uneven, too light in certain areas, and generally not in a condition I felt comfortable with. Mahshid had a last-minute opening, and I booked it because I needed an experienced corrective-color specialist. Mahshid’s technical skill was clear from the beginning. She quickly identified what needed to be corrected and explained the plan in a way that made sense. She did a root melt, added lowlights, adjusted the tone, and cut my hair so everything blended naturally again. The difference was significant, and the final result looked intentional, full of dimension, and much healthier. Sophie supported the entire process by keeping everything organized, assisting hands-on, checking in with me regularly, and coordinating each step so the appointment ran smoothly. Her attention to detail made a longer service feel so manageable. Ella was also assisting and shadowing and she was so sweet and kind, besides being super gentle while combing and blow drying my hair. I’d also like to acknowledge Nia, who did my consultation the week before. She gave me an honest assessment and encouraged me to take the opening with Mahshid since her own next availability was farther out. That transparency helped me make the right decision. I arrived feeling unsure about whether my hair could be corrected without more drastic measures, and I left with a result that restored both the color and my confidence, for real. I cried at the start from the disappointment on my hair, but then had happy tears at the end for the unbelievable results. This was a straightforward, professional experience with a team that clearly knows corrective work well. I did pay for my service, so the reason I’m writing this review is only because their work truly deserves so much recognition! Ps.: also sharing because if there’s anyone out there who’s in panic-mode with their hair (like I was), they’ll know they can count on this team without hesitation.

I can't express with words how happy I am. My hair is long, as I been growing it out for over a year since the photo in my bio and I had no idea what to do with it. Cassie walked me through everything and I finally just told her to do her thing and don't hold back from her vision. Dude! I look like a freaking hair model and I feel like it made me look further away from 50 than 2 years 😂. It's insane! I will never go to anyone else ever!

I had my hair highlighted by Paulina today and I truly can’t say enough great things about the experience. She is incredibly meticulous and attentive, making sure every foil was placed perfectly and timed just right. Even the way she washed my hair was thoughtful, adding a towel under my neck for comfort, which I really appreciated. My color came out absolutely phenomenal! exactly what I wanted, even better than I imagined. On top of her skill, she’s so easy to talk to and made the entire appointment enjoyable from start to finish. Paulina just gets it, she knew exactly what I needed without me having to over-explain. I walked out feeling confident and beautiful. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for stunning results and a stylist who truly cares about the details!

Cara is a wizard! I’ve been seeing her for highlights and balayage for over a year and getting to experience her growth in the industry and witness her talent expand has been so rewarding. 🤩 I came in wanting to go a bit lighter and to better shape my haircut, and she DELIVERED! What I love about Cara: she truly cares about the quality of her work and your happiness as a client, while providing excellent service. She’s so sweet and has great attention to detail. I really appreciate how she takes the time to educate you on the process while striving to meet your hair goals. What I love about Deep Roots: the community, support, and education it provides for their stylists. I feel confident in knowing that the service I receive is relevant and trendy (in a good way). The front desk staff is very warm and welcoming (as well as the owners when they’re there), while the rest of the stylists are always willing to lend a hand and help each other out if needed. It’s a very supportive environment and you don’t always see that in salons. Overall, this location is 10/10! You won’t be disappointed!

Aubrie is not only an amazing hairstylist I truly consider her a friend! She is unapologetically herself, genuine and you can tell she loves what she does. .Aubrie truly listens to what I want and always delivers results that exceed my expectation. My hair has never looked or felt better-the cut , color and styling is perfect. I always get compliments on my hair and it’s all because of AUBRIE♥️ The salon is super clean , welcoming and the atmosphere is so fun! I highly recommend Aubrie to anyone looking for a trustworthy and talented stylist. She Rocks!
